Dr. Jean Alwyn Mellors, age 87 years, born January 27, 1930 was called home by her heavenly father on the morning of August 11, 2017. She was predeceased by her mother, father, and two sons Mark and Ian. Jean is survived by her loving son Tim.
Jean was a woman of many talents. In addition to running a successful medical practice for 50 years, she was a licensed pilot, former field hockey goalie, humanitarian, a lover of books, and a devoted mother. She will be remembered for her easy smile and gentle heart.
A Memorial Service will be held at Bonavista Baptist Church, (1507 Acadia Dr SE) on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.
