Jela was born in her beloved Recica, Croatia and immigrated to Canada in 1965.
She is survived by her daughters Mary Rudin and Mary Zrinscak; grandchildren Barbara (Zeljko) Rados, John Rudin, David Zrinscak and Jason (Essante) Zrinscak; great-grandchildren Cristina (Nathan) Orsten, Makenna and Carter Rudin, Izayah and Eliyas Zrinscak; great-great-grandson Oliver Orsten; her niece Slavica and her family, Stevo, Tatjana and Matea Siljac; as well as numerous relatives in Croatia.
Jela was predeceased by her parents Lovro and Mara Horvatic; her brother Ivan Horvatic; her beloved husband Ivan Trusca; as well as her sons-in-law Frank Rudin and Nick Zrinscak.
