Aunty Megan Franke (Uncle Tim); Uncle Cameron Jacobs (Aunty Trina) cousins Liam, Peyton, Conner and Raylee. She is also survived by her Great Grampa Oak (Kenneth Gledhill) who treasured her.
Jemma was a fun loving, active child who loved to play, giggle, run and sing. When she was three years old she woke one morning seizing and it didn’t stop. She was diagnosed with FIRES syndrome and her little life became very different. She was unable to regain most of her previous abilities and had to overcame so many health challenges over the next five years. Through all of that she still enjoyed music and learning. She attended The Emily Follensbee School and loved the wonderful teachers and staff who dedicate their life to helping children with disabilities.
She was so loved and adored by her family and so many others. Her sudden passing has left a very large empty space; but she is free now to run and play happily in heaven with her Great Gramma Oak and Aunty Natalie.
There will be celebration of life at South Calgary Funeral Centre & Crematorium. 12700 Macleod Trail South, Calgary on Friday April 19th, 2024 @ 2:00 pm
