Born in Poland, he built his life through hard work, including many years with CP Rail. His greatest love was his wife, Teresa, and his biggest passion was restoring cars, bringing old machines back to life with patience and skill. Jerry loved to fish, and he was a gardener who planted flowers season after season so Teresa would always have something beautiful to look at. He taught those he raised to stay with the hard things, to never wait to be rescued, and to show up — lessons that live on in them still.
Beneath the hardness was a man who loved the only way he knew how. He is carried forward, with love, by those who were in his heart.
Rest now, the fight is over, and there is only peace.
