Jessie Lena Lawrence (nee Ball) passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2011 in Calgary, AB at the age of 77 Years. Jessie is survived by her 5 children; Brian, Jackie (Gary), Valerie (Mike), Darold and Blaine (Kelly) and granddaughter Bobbi-Jo who she raised. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and 2 sisters Rose Williams and Violet Melnick. Jessie was known as “Mom and Grandma” to all that loved and knew her. She was predeceased by her husband Tom Lawrence, sister Bertha Wilson, son Lyle Ball and stepson Peter Anderson.
Visitation will be held at South Calgary Funeral Centre, 12700 Macleod Trail South, Calgary, AB on Friday, April 1, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at South Calgary Funeral Centre on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
