Joel was wholly and endlessly loved by his partner, Randee Manske. He was deeply loved and cherished by his mother, Jodene (Jody) Frost, and his father, Walter Frost. Joel will also be incredibly missed by his mother-in-law, Carolyn Scott, his sister-in-law, Aynslee Kosowan, and her husband, Tavis; and his beloved nephew, Ryder and niece, Hailey. He will also be joyfully remembered by his close friends, his extended family, and all who knew him.
Joel was meticulous, direct, unwaveringly honest, and always genuinely himself. Open with his love, he was a source of support, encouragement, and strength to those closest to him. His greatest happiness was the life he shared with Randee.
Though his passing leaves an irreparable void, Joel's laugh and lighthearted humour will stay in the memories of those who knew and loved him.
A service celebrating Joel's life will be held at Foster's Garden Chapel Funeral Home, 3220 - 4 Street N.W., Calgary on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
At the request of the family, please do not send flowers. Joel often spoke of his love of animals, so in lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to Calgary Humane Society in Joel's memory.
