After a lengthy illness Jonas passed away on Monday, March 30, 2015. Born in Antiqua, West Indies Jonas lived in England for a time before coming to Canada where he resided in Vancouver before coming to Calgary. Jonas is survived by his loving wife Liza; his daughter Jeanette Longford and Family; two brothers in England; two sisters in the United States; stepson Wayne Lia Wright and Family; stepdaughter Susan Wright and Family. Jonas was predeceased by his son Delvin Longford, his parents and two brothers. At Jonas' request there will be no Service.
