Justin David Cuppen passed away suddenly on January 2, 2019. Among his many positive attributes, he will be remembered for his brilliant mind and love of children. On May 18, 2016 Justin was awarded a hard-earned Bachelor of Arts degree, Psychology Major, from the Vancouver Island University. This was a major accomplishment for him having returned to school well into his adult years to first complete High School matriculation, then to be accepted into the Bachelor program where he showed brilliance and impressed not a few of his professors. His ultimate goal was to become a doctor and spend his career helping children with mental illness. His compassionate and loving heart would have suited him so very well in such a cause.
Justin was predeceased earlier this year by his youngest brother Kyle. He is survived by the love of his life, his little sweetheart daughter Jade (she meant the world to him); and her mother, Alaina Lustig, both of Nanaimo, BC; his niece Anastasia “Ana”; mother Diane Allison; father Nolan (Vicky) Cuppen, both of Calgary, AB; and step-sister Ashley. Justin’s aunts, uncles, and many cousins will remember him always. He was truly loved and will be dearly missed.
Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end;
Goodbyes simply mean I’ll miss you till we meet again.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, any wishing to donate in Justin’s memory are invited to give to the Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada, (www.childrenswish.ca).
