Born in Guangzhou, China, Ken was the son of Yuechang Liu and Shequan Yang, and the younger brother of Albert Yang and Bonnie Yang. He built a life centered around family, hard work, and adventure.
Ken was a restaurateur who opened and operated multiple restaurants across Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton. He was hardworking, practical, dependable, outgoing, and known for his sense of humor.
Outside of work, Ken loved to travel and experience the world. Some of his most memorable journeys included trips to Iceland and Taiwan, along with river cruises through Europe. His adventurous nature carried into every part of his life.
Above all, Ken was deeply devoted to his family. He is survived by his wife, Quincy Yang; his sons, Andrew, Anthony, and Ricky Yang; his parents, Yuechang Liu and Shequan Yang; his brother, Albert Yang; and his sister, Bonnie Yang.
Ken will be remembered for his strong work ethic, adventurous spirit, humor, and love for his family. His presence will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
