Koon Fung Lau was born in Fong Kong, China on Aug 14, 1924. She was the eldest child with two younger brothers. She married to my father in her early twenties and lived in a farming village in China.
She moved to Hong Kong in early 1950 with her husband, and three children at that time.
In total, she has eight children; Chau Sau Ying, John and Wendy Chau, Connie and Paul Fung, Paul and Shirley Chau, Anna and Simon Lau, Winnie Chow, James and Jacquie Chau , fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
She moved to Calgary from Hong Kong and lived with Anna and her family in 2002.
She dedicated her own life to her family.
She brought her family from China to Hong Kong. That changed the life of everyone in her family.
To some, this as well as providing a lovely home for her family is her best gift.
She brought the Catholic faith and Jesus to her family. This is the best gift to her children.
Her zeal to Jesus is her legacy.
