LaDonna Mildred Thompson nee Evans passed away peacefully on July 24, 2011 at the Rockyview Hospital in Calgary at the age of 81. Sadly missed by her daughters, Gayle and Gerri (John Wong Ken) and her grandchildren Stephanie and Mitch Grassi and Julia Wong Ken. Mom was predeceased by her husband Jim and her son Jimmie, her brother Garth and her sister Pauline.
LaDonna was born and raised in Warner and continued her education at the University of Alberta. She began her teaching career in Lethbridge where she met and married Dad. They began raising their family in Medicine Hat and later Calgary. Mom was a lifelong learner and teacher to us all.
