Larry Taylor, beloved husband of Maureen for 42 years, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013 at the age of 64 years after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He will be lovingly remembered by his two daughters Jodi (Seamus Doyle) and Kelsey Taylor (Mike Zagorsky), and his beautiful grandkids Liam, Brigid, Gillian and Sydney. Larry was born in Dinsmore, Saskatchewan to Herb and Jean Taylor and was the youngest of three children. He was predeceased by his sister Emily Lundeen and is survived by his sister Marion Anderson. He moved to Calgary and attended SAIT after which he began his diverse 30 year career with Shell. He loved travelling, camping, golf and curling, watching the Packers and the Flames, and those that knew him best would say a funny joke and a good glass of red wine. A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Saturday April 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that you make a donation in Larry’s name directly to the Alzheimer’s Society, 201, 222 - 58 Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB T2H 2S3.
