We are sorry to hear of Laverne's death.  We shall always remember him as a good friend, kind neighbour, and frequent visitor at our farm which was next door to his parent's farm west of Olds.  He was always willing to lend a hand with electrical issues and share an interesting conversation.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time in life. Laverne was a co-worker and friend of mine and my wife (Marilyn). He and I both worked for the Calgary Board of Education, maintance department for many years. Laverne and I remained good friends and stayed in contact with one another after retireing from the board some years ago. 

Laverne will be sadly missed and always remembered.
