Born in Calgary, Lee spent her early years living in Irricana, AB until she began her career at Gulf Oil and moved to Calgary in 1953. In 1956 she married Earl Bradford McIsaac and had their only son Marc in 1957.
Lee then left her job to raise their son for the next 15 years. In 1972 she went back to work for Canada Post until early retirement in 1995.
Lee will be missed for her kind heart and desire to help others with whatever might have ailed them. A quiet soul, she loved nature and took pleasure in the simpler things life had to offer. Serious medical complications only arose in her last year of life, and she will always be remembered for her strength and compassion toward all she knew. God be with you.
Lee is survived by her only son Marc McIsaac and will be lovingly remembered by her dear friends Melvin Usselman, and David and Anne Veres.
She is predeceased by parents Rose Semotonk (2007) and William Semotonk (1985), and her only brother Norman Semotonk (2003).
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. with graveside service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
