Pat passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, February 7, 2013 in Calgary, AB at the age of 83 years. A native Calgarian, Pat was a member of the Calgary Oldtimers Association. She worked for Imperial Oil for several years. Pat loved to travel, touring Europe and later working for the External Affairs Department of Canada for over 30 years and was able to travel to many countries. After retiring, she made her home in Calgary. Pat is survived by brothers Garry (Shirley) and Ted (Carna) as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of Pat’s Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly the Calgary Food Bank, 5000 11 St S.E., Calgary, AB T2H 2Y5.
