Her devotion to family made each member feel loved and cherished. During family car trips back to the beach, farms and other destinations she loved to encourage sing-a-longs.

Over the years Lil and Lloyd enjoyed cheering on the Roughriders, following curling on tv and watching local hockey and ball games. Together, Lil and Lloyd, shared a love of gardening and travel throughout North America. In later years Lillian spent time attending her granddaughters dance recitals and competitions as well as piano performances. Throughout her life she was a dedicated United Church Member.

Out of necessity, in May 2018, Lillian moved to Agecare Midnapore Calgary and remained there until her passing.

The family would like to take the opportunity to thank the staff of the Chaparral unit of Agecare Midnapore for their dedication to the care of Lillian.
