Linda was a deeply loving, nurturing, and genuinely hilarious woman, who was adored by so many. She had a way of putting everyone before herself, always showing kindness, consideration, forgiveness, understanding, and empathy in everything she did.
Linda was born and raised in Belmont, Manitoba. She was the fourth of five beautiful children, born to Rody and Bertha MacKay. Linda eventually settled in OK Falls, a place that became a greatly meaningful part of her life. While there, she and her late husband Alan Woods built a life together and owned and operated a store called the OK Corral, which remains an important part of her story and family history.
Later in life, Linda made her home in Calgary with her beloved husband, Ralph Lefteruk, where they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and deep companionship. Their bond was steady and enduring, and it was clear to everyone who knew them how much they meant to one another. Together, they created a home filled with warmth and care, and Linda was happiest when she was simply by his side, surrounded by the life they had built together.
Linda is lovingly remembered by her children Dale (Wendy) Woods, Deanne (Ron) Gray, and Deneen Davidson. She is also cherished by her grandchildren Ryan Gray, Megan Tebrinke, Jay Davidson, Ema Davidson, and Sydney Davidson. Not only that but Linda’s great grandchildren Stevie, Riley, Sawyer, Hadley and Calder will always hold their “Gigi” in their hearts.
Above all, Linda loved her family and every moment spent with them. Whether it was visiting, laughing, singing, or simply being together, those were the moments she cherished most. She adored golfing with Ralph, her late dog Ruffles, and her cats Max and Milo.
She is remembered by so many through Christmas. Her home was always fully transformed into a Christmas wonderland — decorated to the absolute max with trinkets, warmth, and love. Her baking and the traditions she created brought everyone together year after year.
What made Linda truly unforgettable was her unconditional love, her beautiful eyes and smile, as well as the warmth she carried which had a way of lighting up every room she walked into.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love she gave so freely and the light she brought into the lives of so many.
