It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of our beloved mother, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother who left us suddenly on October 12th, 2022 at the Peter Lougheed Centre. Lois was born on January 10, 1935 in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Cecil and Dawn Powles and then later moved to Calgary in the late 1950's.
Lois is survived by her daughters Gail Sakal (Eugene), Janet Hyatt (Glen Poitras), Janice Adomauskas (William Frost). Her sons Richard Hyatt, Lawrence Hyatt (Karen). Her sister Joan Stevenson (Stevie) along with several grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Cecil and Dawn Powles, her daughter Virginia Gienow and her Grandsons Steven Hyatt, Cory Sakal and Kyle Poitras.
