Lonne Joseph Culhane

A cherished husband to his soulmate, Cynthia Culhane, who he adored. A loving father to their children, who were incredibly loved and he was so proud of, Taylor (Brennen), Paige, Grace and Landon love him immensely with all their hearts, and a new grandfather to Carmen, who made his face light up. The youngest of five, Lonne is remembered so fondly by his three siblings, Trevor Horvath, Chelsea Horvath-Aleksich (Mike) and Marni Miller (Paul), as well as his sister and brothers-in-law, Kristin Phippen (Kurt), Jason Aiello (Jessica) and Cameron Sorensen (Brigette), who all loved his thoughtfulness and kind and gentle heart. His nieces and nephews, Sienna, Makayla, Marshall, Lucas, Mason and Logan will all miss his jovial and fun personality. His father and mother-in-law, Ken and Nancy Truscott, who admired his devotion to his family.

He was preceded in death by his father Ron, his mother Arlene, and his sister Jo.

For all those who knew and loved Lonne, he will be remembered for his incredible strength, passion and love of music, hockey, kindness and his unwavering commitment to his family and friends. He was effortlessly funny, witty and loving. In 2003, Lonne met the love of his life, Cynthia, who he married in 2006 and became an amazing and devoted stepfather to her beautiful, strong and talented three daughters. In 2013, he and Cynthia were blessed with the birth of their incredible son. Fatherhood suited Lonne so much, it came so naturally to him, and it was always something he wanted to be.

Lonne was a highly successful businessman in the oil and gas industry and was well respected in the community by his peers and everyone who had the privilege to know and work with him. A husband, father, brother, uncle and friend who is forever loved and will be missed by so many people. Those we love and lose are always connected with heartstrings into infinity.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Southview Alliance Church, #20200 Walden Blvd SE, Calgary, Alberta on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 1:00pm.
