Born in Windsor, Ontario, to Grace and Murray Dingle, Ruth was the heart of our family in her role as wife, mother, and grandmother.
Throughout her life, she found great joy in teaching, travelling, painting, and weekly bridge games with “the girls,” but her greatest highlights were the times spent among family and friends.
Ruth is survived by her children: Robert (Nicole) Grant, Heather (Blain) Palamaruk, and Jennifer (Todd) Moher; and her grandchildren: Alexandra, Isabella, Grace, Zoe, Jacob, and Cassie. She was predeceased by her husband, Bill Grant; her parents, Murray and Grace Dingle; and her sister, Joan McGauley.
A Memorial Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
