Marion Annie Williams

She is lovingly remembered by her children; daughters Marguerita Williams of St. Albert, AB, Marilyn (Ron) Kobe of Medicine Hat, AB, and Susan (Denis) Ethier of Nanaimo, BC; sons David Williams of Calgary, and Darrell Williams (Lynn Atlas) of Ajax, ON as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister’s children Bob Woolland, Paul (Carol) Wawrychuk, Nicolas Wawrychuk, David (Angie) Wawrychuk, her sister in law Yvonne (Derek) Stacy, along with many nieces and nephews of England.

Marion was predeceased by her husband of 66 years Allan, her daughter Sian Marie Steppler of Calgary, her mother Anne Elizabeth Woolland; her father Frederick Woolland and her sister Barbara Wawrychuk and brother in law Danny Wawrychuk, her sister in law June Crawford and Geraldine Elliott.

Marion was a loving wife, a stay at home mom to six children and a loving Nanny to her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also operated a daycare at her home and looked after many more children after the nest was empty. She was woman of many talents including knitting, crocheting and each year had the most beautiful flower garden which was admired by many who passed by her house.

A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) Friday, September 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with cremation to follow.
