It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the age of 84.

Marjorie, a lifelong Calgarian, was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph and her brother Frank Van Camp. Marjorie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Karen (Paul) Chagnon, her son and daughter-in-law: Ken (Jill) Rossi and her grandchildren Dan, Scott, Mark, Kevin and Jennifer. She will be greatly missed by all.

Marjorie was devoted to her family, always ready to listen, to laugh, to encourage or to lend a helping hand. The family is very grateful to the staff of Extendicare Hillcrest for their excellent care and compassion provided to Marjorie.

To Ken, Jill, Karen and Paul and Marj's grandchildren. It is with heartfelt sadness and great sorrow I learned of Marj's passing upon reading this morning's Calgary Herald, having returned from Mexico on January 2nd. Marj and Joe were great and positive influences in both Ann-Marie's and my life and I have many fond memories of this wonderful couple. Marj indeed was a most special friend, especially to Ann-Marie and indeed, myself as was Joe. I recall many annual Christmas parties at the Petroleum Club with Marj and Joe and visiting them at the Flames games as their seats were near the Harvard Energy seats and we always took the opportunity to visit Marj and Joe during these occasions.

I had occasion to visit briefly with Marj while she was hospitalized in late November of 2012 at the Rocky View Hospital and we shared memories of our respective loved ones and I was impressed with Marj's spirit and steadfastness. I will always remember these moments. May Marj and Joe now be together again for all time.
