Mary was born in Renton, Dumbartonshire, Scotland, March 25, 1930 and passed away September 2, 2011 in Calgary. She is survived by her sister Janet Fleury, nephew Ian Fleury and his wife Gail, all of Victoria and niece Debra Greig, her husband Brian and their children Courtney, Matthew and Morgan, all of Barrie, Ontario.
Mary enjoyed a career as a librarian and for a time worked with the Calgary Public Library.
A funeral service was held at South Calgary Funeral Centre on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Interment took place following the service at Queen's Park Cemetery.
In Mary’s honour, memorial tributes were directed to one’s charity of choice.
