Mike passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the age of 78 years. He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Joyce; daughters Wendy (Keith) Pituley and Sue (Brett); son Jason (Kim); grandchildren Melissa (Bryan) Keown, Jordan Pituley, Cameron (Hannah) Pituley, Warren and Shaun Lasher; GG will be sadly missed by great-granddaughters Katie and Laura Keown. He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Deborah (Ross) Raeburn, Morgan (Bruce) Miller, Sean (Sue) Mace and Barclay (Kelly) Hunter and their families. Mike fought valiantly for his two greatest passions, his family and fishing. A Celebration of Mike’s Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery), on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. The family wants to thank all of the doctors and those who cared for Mike, including the staff and volunteers at the Dulcina Hospice.
