Monica Hilda Elizabeth Edwards

Monica Hilda Elizabeth Edwards passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. at the age of 94 years. She was born in Calgary, Alberta on August 29, 1925. She lived the earliest part of her life in Bassano, Alberta then moved to Calgary for the remainder of her life.

Monica is survived by her children; Dorothy Anne MacLean (Bill), Edith Diane Voszler (Gary), Thomas Wayne Edwards (Trudy), Beth Juanita Worthington (Pat); twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, sister in law Dorothy. She was predeceased by her brother James.

Monica worked as a dispatcher at the Salvation Army for over 20 years. She attended St. Andrews Anglican church and was a member of the altar guild.

Monica enjoyed travelling, cruising and having a glass of wine with friends and family.

At her family’s request there will be no service held.
