Dear Bob

So sorry to hear the news of my friend Nancie's passing.
She was a kind, generous, loved and respected employee of Calgary Separate School Board.  Working with Nancie at Central Office and Father Lacombe was always fun.  Many memories celebrating each other's birthdays,  going out for dinners and shopping during lunch hours.  Parties and get-togethers at Bob & Nancie home was always a enjoyable evening.

May your memories help you through your days ahead.
She will never be forgotten!!

We would like to pass on our condolences to Bob.  We knew Nancie when we were young "marrieds" in Calgary.   We enjoyed many events with Nancie and Bob through the years and were very much aware, and appreciated, her exceptional qualities as an individual and a friend.  So sorry for your loss.

Bob - Please accept our deepest condolences.  It was a sad time this week when Flo and I learned of Nancie's passing.  We always cherish the way she was so pleasant and thoughtful.
It was also a special treat for me, each day, to have her in our school office.  Her smile and laugh brightened each day.  It was a pleasure to work with her.

We lost a beautiful, sparkling light with the passing of my auntie (and godmother) Nancie.  She brought so much joy to others during her lifetime.
Thank you to all of the kind souls who have left these loving and thoughtful messages for my uncle Bob.  He cherished Nancie.  Your heartfelt notes, and sharing of your own special memories of Nancie, have meant so much and have graciously provided Bob with great comfort during this difficult time.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Nancie.  I knew Nancie while working together in the office at Father Lacombe High School.  Her wonderful laugh, her beautiful smile and generous spirit is what I will keep in my memories of her.

I am so sorry to hear of Nancie's passing. I worked with Nancie for nearly 20 years at Father Lacombe in the main office and she was a truly special person. Her mischievious smile and great sense of humour  always lifted our spirits.  Nancie was the kindest, most generous person I have ever known and I regret falling out of touch when she left and I later retired. I have such great memories of her - our conversations, lunches, and just working together in a very busy but congenial office. My husband Ken also enjoyed her humour and they often had some interesting conversations. My deepest condolences.

Dearest Bob; 

I remember Auntie Nancie as a kind, thoughtful woman of endless good cheer! She was a great friend to me, and I have many heartfelt and hilarious memories of us together over the years. I was lucky to have been able to get to know her so well, and I will never forget her sparkling blue eyes and easy laugh. 

Growing up, I was dazzled by her beehive hairdo and neat-as-a-pin style on her tiny little frame. I don’t remember a time when you both have not been part of our lives. I have wonderful memories of spectacular dinner parties hosted at your house (even though I found out later, and it was not evident, that Nancie really did not enjoy cooking!), and long, lingering family 'Happy Hours' together with our clan where we shared our stories and celebrated special occasions. I've really missed seeing you both since I moved so far away. 

We can only imagine what sadness you feel to have lost your dear “Nannie”. Cal and I hold you in our hearts and send deep-felt condolences to you at this sad time, Bob. May you find comfort in knowing how much she was loved, and in the company of your family and friends. Sending much love, xox

Steve, mom and I were so sorry to hear of Nancie’s passing. We will always remember her as such a joyful, happy person. We have such wonderful memories of you both at our wedding.  We are keeping you in our prayers and our hearts go out to you and your family during this difficult time. So sorry to hear of Nancie’s passing. The next while be tough but I know you will get through it. Take comfort that Nancie passed suddenly unlike so many these days.
I have fond memories of our times together although they were short they were frequent, Nancie was always a happy upbeat person , cherish the memories of your time together..


I had the pleasure of working with Nancie at Father Lacombe. She was always so cheerful and helpful no matter how busy the office became - which was often.  I especially remember our conversations focused on our shared love for chocolate.

Nancie was such a kind and caring person...we had spent many evenings out with her and Bob and our other friends and I worked with Nancie for awhile..She was always interested in others and how they were...she was full of life..she will be greatly missed...we loved her alot....RIP Nancie. Nancie was certainly a bright light at Father Lacombe.  She always made time to chat with me, asking about my life, but rarely discussed her life or problems. She seemed very happy to be working with us.
