Patrick Tsun Kuen Wong

With profound sadness and grateful hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of beloved husband Patrick on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, Alberta, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 71 years.

Patrick was born in Hong Kong on August 5, 1954. In 1995, he immigrated to Canada and made Calgary his home, where he began a new chapter of his life. He was a man of integrity, humility, kindness, and sincerity. Hardworking and devoted, he treasured his family above all else.

Over the past two years, Patrick faced his battle with cancer with remarkable courage and determination. He embraced every treatment with hope and perseverance, never giving up despite the many challenges he encountered. Even as his health declined, he remained deeply grateful and often expressed heartfelt appreciation for the unwavering love and care of his family.

In the final chapter of his life, Patrick came to know the love of God. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour on December 13, 2024, and was baptized on April 13, 2025, publicly professing his faith. Trusting in God's grace, he completed his earthly journey in peace and faith. We take comfort in knowing that he is now resting in the presence of the Lord, free from pain and suffering, and enjoying eternal peace.

Patrick leaves behind his beloved family and many relatives and dear friends. His love, faith, courage, kindness, and gentle spirit will forever remain in our hearts.

A Funeral Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
