Peter Kaminski passed away peacefully at home with his loving and very devoted wife Vernie by his side on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the age of 92 years. Peter is lovingly remembered by his wife; daughter Leanne; son Brian (Laura); three grandsons Braeden, Dylan and Aaron. He is also survived by his sister Anne Horpynka; brother Walter (Anna) Kaminski; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Calgary Poppy Fund /Veterans Food Bank, 1, 4539 - 6 Street N.E., Calgary, AB T2E 3Z6. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., with interment to follow in the Field of Honour at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
