It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ray Clark at the age of 80 years; beloved husband to Jackie, wonderful father to Kim and Brent, and amazing grandpa (“Pops”) to Josh, Morgan, Samantha and Jessica as well as a special Uncle to nieces, nephews, friends and their families.
Ray loved his family dearly. He will be sorely missed, not only by his family, but by many friends and former colleagues, near and far. Ray was always very community minded, from the time he was a young teen, which was apparent in his passion for his community, civic politics and his dedication to the City of Calgary throughout his life.
Ray was predeceased by his parents, his brother and his son, Brent.
The family respectfully requests no flowers. Should you wish to donate in Ray’s memory, the family would be grateful for a memorial gift to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
A Celebration of Ray’s Life will take place at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery), on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
