Reinhard “Ray” Maekelburger went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Friday, October 15, 2010 at the age of 75 years. Ray was born in Danzig, Germany on March 15, 1935 and immigrated to Canada in 1952. Ray is survived by his daughter Debbie Bolder; son Gary; brother Guenter; granddaughters and nephews. He had a passion and loved playing soccer. Ray was a member of First Assembly Church and Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship. A Funeral Service was held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Steve Osmond, officiating.
