One of eight children born to William & Frances, he was the last to board the “Angel Bus” after a brief illness at the age of 93. Predeceased by his loving wife of 61 years, Carmen (2013) and son-in-law Murray (2014). Bob is survived by his daughter Lori and son Tim. Robert is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by so many along his wonderful, and enjoyed journey of life.
Born in Lachine, Quebec, Bob lived in the Montreal area and settled with his wife in Pointe Claire, on the West Island until the family moved to Calgary in 1978. They lived in Brentwood until 2011 when they moved to the Manor Retirement Village in Huntington Hills. Robert (Bob) lived his life to the its fullest. He started working at the age of 13 and reluctantly retired at the age of 81. Bob will be remembered for his outgoing and vivacious personality and quick wit.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 4 Street NW. on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 2:00PM. Reception to be held following the service.
