Robert Thom McLone passed away peacefully Sunday, August 2, 2026, at the age of 88, in Calgary, Alberta, his hometown of 30 years.. Bob, as he was referred to, left behind his beloved partner Cindy McCullough of 38 years, his first wife Annette, cherished daughter, Eileen, two grandchildren, Michèlle & Nicolas, as well as two great grandchildren, Samuel and Felix. Bob, or as he was referred to by friends, Magoo, will be remembered for his sense of humor, exciting and varied life, and as an avid fan of the Montreal Canadians and Calgary Flames. He loved music, hockey, soccer, golf and getting together with friends and family.

A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held Friday, August 21st -1:00 p.m. at South Calgary Funeral Centre & Crematorium, 12700 Macleod Trail S.W., with a small reception to follow.
