Roderick Anthony Cameron, aged 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Born in Midland, Ontario, in 1939, Rod dedicated 35 years of his life to the Navy, serving his country with honor and distinction.
Rod is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Colleen Cameron. He was predeceased by his son, Mark Cameron, and is lovingly remembered by his sons Trevor (Treena) Cameron and Kevin (Jen) Cameron. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Cory, Loghan, Breanna, Josh, and Mike.
Known for his quick wit and love of life, Rod brought joy to those around him with his sense of humor. He had a passion for playing cards and was an enthusiastic square dancer, often lighting up the dance floor with his energy and smile.
Rod's legacy of service, love, and laughter will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
