Ronald is lovingly remembered by his wife Doris “Jean” Fenerty; brothers Michael (Anne) Fenerty and Brian Fenerty; children Craig (Coralee) Fenerty, Joseph Fenerty and Sarah Fenerty; and granddaughters Taylor Fenerty, Jordan Fenerty and Rachel Fenerty. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Robert Lloyd Fenerty and Muriel Edith Fenerty.
Born and raised in Calgary, he attended the University of Alberta in Edmonton for a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Law degree. He articled in Calgary with Fenerty Law Firm and practiced litigation law.
Ronald had memberships in the Blue Goose and Ranchman’s Club. His pastimes included collecting histories and blueprints from WWII Airfields in Alberta and he built a glider and an airplane. Ronald was gifted at woodcarving birds and was musically talented. He enjoyed playing in his musical group and playing pool with his brother Brian. Ronald was also a lover of animals. He will be deeply missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
