Rosa Razzini

Rosa Razzini passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family in Calgary, AB on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the age of 86 years. Rosa immigrated to Canada with her husband, Sebastiano, in December of 1955. Soon after settling in Calgary, she gave birth to her son, Arturo, followed two years later by her daughter, Rosetta. Rosa was a natural-born care-giver, spending much of her time looking after her family and garden. She was a pillar of strength, but despite that, she taught her family to not take life too seriously. No matter the occasion, she was always the life of the party. Her grandchildren will remember her most for her strength, intuition, and ability to balance life’s sorrows with laughter. Rosa will be sadly missed by her two children; four grandchildren, Daniel Razzini, Stefanie Razzini, Steven (Jackie) Iannarelli and Paul Iannarelli; one brother, Evangelista (Elly) Nania; two sisters-in-law, Giovanna Nania and Giuseppina Gentile; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her husband; sister, Teresa Lobello; brother, Gennaro Nania; and son-in-law, Frank Iannarelli. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, December 27th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. followed by Entombment at Queen’s Park Cemetery Mausoleum.
