Audrey Eamor passed away on Wednesday, June 17th at the age of 92 years. Born in December of 1927 to Frederick and Ada Gale, Audrey spent most of her formative years on a farm near Three Hills, Alberta and her family later moved to Calgary. Audrey was an active member of the Northminster United Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She also had a love of plants and nature and will be remembered for her lemon meringue pie.
She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children and their families, David & Cerelie Eamor, Carol Anne & Len Cole, her grandchildren; Lisa, Jonathan, Arthur, Stephen, Mary, Jacob, and her great-grandchildren; Emily, Jesse, Logan, Mckenna, Elizabeth and Alexandra. Also left to mourn Audrey are her siblings and their families; Eleanor, Murray & Marvel Anne, Marilyn.
Audrey was predeceased by her infant son, Philip and her twin sister, Anne Shirley.
A Private Funeral Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) with Interment to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
