Shirley Ann Pattinson

She is survived by her daughter Denise (Jim) Good, and two sons David, and Scott (Denise Laub) Pattinson, and three grandchildren Billie, Kellie, and Bruce.

She was predeceased by her parents Gladys and David Dishan, her sister Valerie McLean, and nephew Jack McLean of Orange County, California.

Shirley spent her younger years in Youngtown, Alberta. The family then moved to Olds where she attended and graduated high school.

After moving to Calgary, she attended Business College and was then employed at Calgary Power, before marrying and having a family.

Shirley had a lifelong passion for books and reading, which evolved into an interest in writing her own short stories and poetry.

She also enjoyed memorable travels to Israel, Egypt, Greece, Italy, and Orkney, Scotland, the birthplace of her father. She also enjoyed a memorable trip to Switzerland and France with daughter Denise and son-in-law Jim.
