Stanley Clarence Young passed away at the Foothills Hospital on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at the age of 78 years. Stan is survived by two sons Lyle (Paige) and Darrell (Jennifer); four grandchildren Natasha, Jeremy, Shawna and Dana and one great grandchild Serenity. Stan was predeceased by his wife Phyllis of 55 years in 2005. Stan was born in Youngstown. The family moved to Calgary in 1970 and has lived here since. Stan spent 47 years working in the oilfield. He retired from Pan Canadian in 1992 after 40 years of service.
A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery – Mausoleum.
