Tarsem Lal Sohal

Tarsem passed away peacefully on February 21, 2022 at the age of 81, surrounded by his family. Forever cherished by his wife, Tripta; his brother, Surinder (Kiran); his sisters Swaran (Gurbachan), Raj (Mohinder); his daughter Sangita (Ajay); his sons Dave, and Shawn (Nikki). His six grandchildren loved him dearly. Tarsem’s loving presence will be greatly missed by all his extended family and friends. He is now in the loving arms of his parents (Faqir Singh and Balwant Kaur), sister Guddi and his grandson Arun.

Tarsem loved everyone and they became family immediately. He was “Papa” to many. He trusted people implicitly and was generous in helping in every way he could. Tarsem was a very strong and positive man. Anything life threw at him, he handled with grace and dignity. Tarsem never complained. He always saw the good in everyone. When he loved you, it was with his whole heart. The love he gave us and the strength he showed, will forever be in our hearts. We are better people for having known him.

A Funeral Service will be held at South Calgary Funeral Centre, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
