Thelma Rose Burton was born on December 24, 1924 in St. Paul, Alberta, and after a valiant struggle with lung cancer, our Sister, Aunt and Friend left us on Thursday, June 20, 2013. Thelma leaves behind her brothers: Jim McConnell (Ida), Len Moulton and Winston Moulton, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 27 years, Ron Burton, as well as her sisters Stella Sutherly and Doris Chapman. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. The family would like to express our sincere gratitude to Agape Hospice staff for the tender care shown to Thelma.
