Thuy, it is with a saddened heart that I say goodbye.  I will miss seeing your beautiful smile and cheery demeanour at school.  Your love and exuberance for life will live on in Keira.  Carl, I know this is a difficult time, but know that Thuy is looking down and will always be with you both in spirit.  I am so sorry I was unable to attend the funeral yesterday as I was out of the country.

I apologize for not being able to attend Thuy's service today.  I am in
Croatia.  As principal of Alex Munro School,  I was always impressed
with Thuy's enthusiasm and spirit. Thuy loved her family as she always
spoke fondly of her husband and daughter.   She was a good teacher and
showed the qualities of a teacher who really cared about the children
that she was teaching.  Her willingness to go beyond what was expected
was impressive.  On behalf of the Alex Munro staff I would like to say
that we will truly miss Thuy and the gifts that she brought to
education.

Dearest Carl, Kiera and Thuy's family,

I would like to extend our sincere sympathy on behalf of Alex Munro School staff, students and parents.  Thuy was such a vivacious teacher who taught the children with love and enthusiasm.  She was a person who truly loved teaching and was very keen about the profession.  Thuy was an honoured member of the Alex Munro Staff and she will be missed by students,parents and staff.  Thank you, Thuy for being such a caring and wonderful teacher.

My name is Marg Hunt and I am a substitute teacher for the CBE.  Although I did not teach with Thuy, I did a great deal of subbing at Alex Monroe School and it was there that I met her.   Whenever I saw her she offered a smile and uplifting words to start the day.  To wee Keira (whom I did get to meet!)and Carl I offer my deepest sympathies.  Know Thuy was loved by many in the teaching profession and will be greatly missed.

I wish to extend our family's deepest and sincerest regrets for the loss of Thuy. 
My name is Dea Pavlove and I first met 'Ms. Pham' in Sept 2008, she was my son, Dymitri's grade 2 teacher. 
I figured I better go and meet this fabulous woman when in the 2nd week of school Dymitri came home 'over the top excited'.
"Mom you wouldn't belive what Ms. Pham said today!!! You can't live without math, you need math for everything, math is the best thing in the world!!!"
My son loves math, and although he was extremely shy and quite introverted she helped him to gain confidence and blossom that year. 
Dymitri was so sad when he had to go into grade 3 and Ms. Pham wouldn't be his teacher!
He still talks about her and told me everytime he saw her 'subbing' at Alex Munro School.
Everytime I saw you Thuy you lit up the room, surrounded by students who loved you, and wanted a little piece of your amazing sunshine!
I loved volunteering in your class and seeing your calm and wonderful style and rapport you held with all your students.
I know you loved Carl and Keira dearly and you'd often share with me funny and endearing stories of them both.
You will always hold a special spot in our hearts, we will miss you always 'Ms. Pham'.
