Wally was known for his genuine kindness, humble heart and warm smile. He was a man of few words but he had a sharp and witty sense of humor that filled us with laughter. Wally dedicated many years to his career in the insurance industry, where he met some lifelong friends. When he wasn’t working, he was a devoted husband and father. Wally always looked forward to his Friday afternoons at the Legion, catching up with his childhood pals.
His authenticity and warmth left a lasting impact on everyone he met. Wally will be deeply missed by his wife Tammie; his children Danny and Angie and his sisters, Cheryl and Patti. Wally was predeceased by his mother, Rebecca Jean Auld; father, Douglas Chapman Auld and his brother Barry.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Royal Canadian Legion- Centennial Calgary Branch 285, 9202 Horton Rd SW on Friday April 12, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. To honour Walter, casual attire is strongly encouraged.
