Wanda Emily Simpson

January 29 1928 – January 17 2012

Mom passed away peacefully with Debi and Randy by her side and began her journey to be reunited with the loved ones that went before her. Mom’s journey throughout her life was filled with many obstacles and tragedies and those made her stronger and with all her being she loved her family more as each day passed. Wanda is survived by her daughter Debi Lewis; sons Randy Arseneault, Derrick Arseneault and stepson Doug (Nancy) Simpson; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving and special sister Connie Coulter, her brother Beech (Dee) Hovey and brother-in-law Don Bannon, as well as friends on her bowling league and her canine companion Reilly. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.The family wishes to express our sincere thanks to Unit 29 of the Peter Lougheed Hospital for the special care given to Mom.
