Wayne enjoyed a long career as a locksmith and took great pride in his work. Outside of work, he found his greatest joy in the outdoors. In his younger years, he spent countless days fishing, and throughout his life he loved exploring nature. He especially cherished the time spent hiking with his beloved partner and companion, Annemarie Wimmer, whether in the majestic Rocky Mountains or along the familiar trails of Nose Hill Park.
Wayne will be deeply missed by his beloved partner, Annemarie; his family in Alberta and Ontario; his loved ones in Austria; and his friends and neighbours. He will be remembered for his love of nature, his quiet companionship, and the many memories he created with those who knew and loved him.
No formal service will be held at this time.
