

Born on March 28, 1936, in Chao Yang Li, Da Jiang township, Taishan county, Guangdong province, China, she grew up in a close-knit village community before later moving to Hong Kong, and subsequently immigrating to Canada, where she built a new life for her family. Throughout her long life, she was known for her quiet strength, resilience, and deep devotion to her loved ones.
She is survived by her four sons Irvin (Carmen), Silas (Connie), Alfred (Miranda), and Kelvin (Dorra), who will forever cherish her love, guidance, and the sacrifices she made for her family. Her legacy lives on in the generations who follow her.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, July 2, 2026 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend and honour her life.
