

San immigrated to Canada in 1958 to Regina, Saskatchewan and then married Tony in 1958. In 1960 she and Tony relocated to Lacombe, Alberta where they raised four children. San worked alongside Tony running a successful restaurant called the A-1 Café and later shared in the running of a drycleaning business call T Mack Drycleaning and Laundromat.
In her spare time, she knitted sweaters for her grandchildren to wear when they were toddlers. Other times were spent caring for her grandchildren when needed.
Yuk Sin is survived by her children Carol (Tim) Ng, Edwin (Lai) Mack, Peter (Chi) Mack and Patti (Henry) Man, grandchildren Matthew (Lindsay) and great grandchildren Nora and Archer, Michael (Esther) Ng and great granddaughter Rosie; Collin, Leslie (Dane) and great grandson Devereau and Cameron Mack, Alisha and Ashley Mack; Jenessa (Mike) and great grandson Quintin, Aaron and Kristiann Man. Yuk Sin was predeceased by her husband Tony Mack.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
