Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Tuesday October 25, 2011 at age 96. Beloved husband of Elsie Whittet. Loving father of Raymond Whittet, Ann Sutton and husband Dick, David Whittet and wife Chris, Isabel Pitman, Jean Thompson and husband Scott. Dearly loved Papa of Raymond, Stephen(Sandra), Angela(Gus), Susanne(Paul), Arlene(Andy), Tara(Nick) and Ryan and also by 11 Great-Grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all. Cremation has taken place. A Private Memorial Service will be held at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, Ontario, 519-653-3251. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
