She was predeceased by her granddaughter Emily in 1997 and her son Brad in 2005. She is survived by her sons Brian (Kate) and Barry (Jane). She devoted her life after retirement from Butler Metal to her grandchildren Brett, Bailey, Elizabeth (Hector), Alex, Lucas (Katerina), and Jill and her great-grandchildren Dariel and Liliana. Alice will be missed by her very best friend Janet, nieces Rosey and Roxy, her brother Jim, and her sister Marie.
As per Alice's wishes a beautiful sendoff has already taken place. We would like to thank from the bottom of our hearts Dr. Sandor and the palliative care team who took amazing care of her and helped Alice die with grace and dignity. We are going to miss her beyond words.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by her family.
