Mom, Not a day goes by were I don't think of you or cry for you. You were my everything. They say that time heals, but it's been almost a year and it hurts just as much today as it did the day you went to Heaven. I struggle with, why someone as good natured, kind and as beautiful as you would be taken away from us, when there are so many bad and evil people in this world. The only thing that gives me any type of comfort is knowing you are no longer suffering and that you are now with Greg and Mike. I long to be with you guys, but know my time isn't done on earth, I can only hope that someday, we will all meet again, Until then, I miss you and love you sooooo much. RIP MOM

My Aunt Betty was one of the kindest person I knew.She had a special unique personality.  Everyone who knew her joined her in her laughter.My special memory is in the summers of 1953 & 1954.After I recovered from Polio,she made me swim,swim,swim to help my leg get stronger.I'll cherish all my memories of my Dear Auntie Betty. Dear Mom,

I don't know where to begin as I have so much I want to say to you. The first thing I want to say is, you were a very courageous woman. You put up a fight to the bitter end. You said that you were at peace with dying, but your only fear was not seeing us again. Mom we will be ok. You will see us again one day, I promise you that. You struggled many years with your heart disease, but you did not give up without a fight. And I also want you to know that I understand why you had to leave this world. A part of me was angry because I wanted you to fight and stay here with me on earth, but as I watched you struggle over the past few weeks, it all became quite clear, that you fought this battle for us, not for you, and I want to thank you for that. You were a very selfless person. I am sooooo proud of you, because the time you gave us, allowed us to say our good-byes. Some people don't get that chance, but we were very fortunate to have this time with you.
You will be missed by so many people. You have touched a lot of people's lives and have left a mark no matter where you went. Mom you wouldn't believe the overwhelming support I have received during this time of sorrow. At a time like this is when you realize how special family and friends really are.
I know you are probably looking down on me right now and wishing I wouldn't be sad, but mom it's so hard not to be because you were such a big part of my life. I will miss our nightly hour phone calls, I will miss your positive attitude, your laughter, but most of all; I will miss your hugs and kisses. Everyone says that you will live on in me, I sure hope so mom because I want to become that strong amazing person you were. I am so proud to have been your daughter mom.

Mom, please say hello to Greg and Mike for me and I sure hope Heaven is everything you hoped it would be. This is not good-bye mom, but so long for now, until we meet again.

To my Favorite Aunt.  Aunt Betty I remember all the great times we had on our trips out to the cabin.  The boat rides, the fish fry's and all the laughter.  I think most of all that is what I will remember most about you, your laugh.  You had so much love to give, you were always there with open arms for a hug or two, sometimes three, but the laughter, oh the laughter every time we came to visit, it still makes me smile today.  May you rest in peace and may God great you with the same love and laughter that you greeted so many with thru out your life.

Although i did not know you for very long, I will never forget you. I will remember you as a very strong person, who cared a lot about the people you loved. Everything that you accomplished in your life is something to be proud of. 

I would have liked to have known you for longer, but unfortunately life doesn't work that way. I will cherish the memories that I have. I hope you can look down at your family from heaven and smile when you see what they go on to do.

I remember Betty and Bob visiting me and my family in Powassan, Ontario, when I was very young. Because they lived in Cambridge, it was a treat each time we got to see them.
Betty was a very kind and caring person. It was very clear that family was an important part of her life. She even made a special trip to London, Ontario, to see my three month old son. I feel very honored that me and my new family were able to see her shortly before her passing.
We will miss you Betty but you will not be forgotten. In Heaven, we pray that you find rest and peace.
