Honey was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, and would watch their games on his big screen TV while listening to it on the radio. He also enjoyed swimming and listening to Irish Music. Honey will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his sons Kevin (Lisa), Brian (Annette), and Donny (Stephanie), grandchildren Thomas, Eric, Keegan, Gavin, Madeline, Hannah, and Austin, and his sisters Marie (Kevin) McGrath, Dot (Blair) Hunt, and Pats (Paul) Kelly. Honey was predeceased by his wife Patricia (nee O’Brien) in 2012, and his siblings Derm, George, Kevin, Brian, Ted, and Betty Norcott. A visitation will be held at Barthel Funeral Home on Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. As per Covid-19 Restrictions, space is limited, so all guests and family attendees must call the funeral home at 519-653-3251 to book their 15-minute visiting time. Cremation will take place, and a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clement’s Church (745 Duke Street, Cambridge) on Saturday, April 10th at 10:00 am. All guests must also reserve a spot at the Church Mass by phoning the funeral home. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
